... Date night IN at our home ...

I have and will continue to toot my own horn about my homemade chicken caesar pizza! For one, because my sister's have always given me a hard time about my "kitchen/baking" abilities, and second: I'm really not too great yet in the kitchen. Usually a few pans of chocolate chip cookies are burnt before I get some OK results, and more than one frustrated sighs have come from something as simple as mac n cheese :/ It's true...who knew that milk, cheese and noodles could be so complicated?! As the genius Thomas A. Edison said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Anyways, lately I am trying to better my cooking/baking abilities because I really do enjoy it. I light my candle, turn up some Ray LaMontagne and bake my head off until I get too frustrated to continue. So, here is a result [finally] from my attempts...
DELISH. Nick enjoyed. I enjoyed.
Date night=Success.
Ingreeds: Pizza crust, olive oil, parmesan cheese, asiago cheese, grilled chicken, tomato, lettuce, green onion, caesar dressing, black pepper, sunflower seeds (because they are cheaper than pine nuts).

"Winking Owl" - $2.99 from Aldi --- fabulous addition to dinner!

And we finished the night off with a white chocolate, caramel hot cocoa...calories?
Worth.Every.Sip.
Thanks for sharing in our date night! More to come...burnt or unburnt :) Stay tuned

Nick&Betsy [Just Because]

"We are 28 but we are still young and love to have fun" Were the words that came in the email to me when Betsy asked about a photo session. Nick and Betsy were awesome!! We laughed and chatted while we walked downtown Grand Rapids. I even made them sit in the middle of the road and look pretty. Nick was especially great because he said he doesn't like having his picture taken, but he did say I exceeded his expectation...I'll take it :) Obviously these two are very much in love and forever young at heart...no matter how old they get. Thanks for letting me capture your young love...and faces.
