Kevin & Niki {Engaged}

 Kevin and Niki just make me smile. They are such a happy, funny, adorable couple - just pleasantness that you want to hang out with. Needless to say, we had a fun time and adventures in some ghetto areas, met a couple great homeless friends, and found lovely old buildings. Once again, another wedding I cannot wait for next year!! See you in warmer days, guys : )

Andrew & Maggie {Engaged}

Once upon a time ... I met Maggie at my very first job: scooping ice cream. The End. :) Pretty exciting, huh? Years passed, and through facebook I saw that she has found the love of her life and she contacted me to photograph their engagement and wedding day!! I am so happy for them! Adorable and so in love - I cannot wait to capture their wedding day!! Glad we met so many years ago:)

Kalee & Aren

Beauti-ful! Kalee and Aren are sisters who wanted their pictures taken together and separate for a gift for their parents. Such a cute idea. Starbucks in hand, we set out for downtown Rockford, MI. We found an awesome vintage train, old buildings, bridges, shops. One of my favorite stops of the day: lunch at a cute little hot dog joint and had some "classy" root beer in glass mugs -  feeling much skinnier (ha-ha) and refreshed, we left and continued on with our photo shoot in the beautiful October weather. Not only are Kalee and Aren outstandingly fabulous, they are just as sweet and funny! We laughed as much as they held onto their 'smize' (serious faces). Thanks for a lovely day, ladies!

Nick & Alisha {Engaged}

A beautiful fall evening for a beautiful couple! Nick and Alisha met and fell in love at Hope College. So, of course, we had to show some College lovin' here with the Hope jerseys (thanks to Nick who plays for Hope) I am SO so super duper excited for their August wedding!!  I love a couple who is willing to try any crazy photo idea that I have and are able to laugh or be serious: Nick and Alisha are great, adorable, perfect for each other. Counting the months to August ... 

Evan & Kristi {Hitched}

 "I want this to be a party with the people I love" When I sit down and ask the bride to tell me about their wedding day, it is adorable to watch their faces light up about the details, their guests, the dress ... But something about Kristi's comment left me extra excited about their August wedding. And I was not disappointed: The chapel was adorable, the dresses were unique and beautiful, the reception was outstanding and every detail along with it. But there was something more that filled the warm summer night: Sheer Celebration. Friends and family from (literally) all over the world had come to give their support and best wishes to Evan and Kristi. The hugs, laughter, dancing, drinking, eating ... all of it was surrounded by so much love for each other. I was blessed to be a part of such a glorious celebration.
