Little Miss Oakleigh

Sweet little Oakleigh. At 3 months old, she is already a girly girl with her adorable, high-pitched squeaks, cries and pouts ... and like her mama, very photogenic. She was so cute and fabulous all morning until she couldn't even hold her eyelids open any longer (it was hilarious to watch her try and stay awake:) This was an especially precious time for me as I have photographed Oakleigh's parent's engagement, wedding, maternity, and now their precious little bundle. The love in their home was so beautiful and calming to walk into. Oakleigh was so settled and happiest when she made eye contact with either her mom and dad. Ahh, so happy for them and blessed to have been apart of such beautiful transitions in their lives. Blessings to you guys!!

Cameron & Alli {Engaged}

       "We would like a winter engagement session in January or February." Cameron and Alli said to me as I thought: Oh, good thing we live in Michigan...there will be beautiful, mountainous piles of fresh snow.  Once again, Michigan had a surprise for us all: No snow. So, with an unusually dry and warm winter, creating a white and sparkling engagement session is hard to come by. Finally, we had a one day window before more rain.  (The next day all the snow was gone again) Anyways, enough weather talk. Cameron and Alli trooped through the snow with me - freezing while looking fabulous: True models right there. Their little dog, Logan trudged along through the snow with us until he shivered and had to put his coat on :) So adorable! I am so excited to be able to capture their lovely wedding day this coming fall: Twill be fabulous! With beautiful weather, I'm sure :)
Ta-ta for now.

...:Birthday Girl:...

Happy Birthday to Miss Ada [or as we like to call her Miss McRae] Ahh, what a delightful and beautiful little gift to know for the past year with her gap-toothed smile and giggles and chubby thighs, hands, feet. I could just squeeze her all day.
Blessed to know her for she is one amazing gift to our family.
Here's to you, fellow and upcoming diva :)
Love you lots n lots,
Auntie J
